We don't make the sandwiches. We make the sandwiches better!

In Petaluma, CA go to Lee LOMBARDI'S Italian Bar-B-Q where he serves a Mama Lil's kick-butt Barbeque Beef Hoagie just smothered deliciously with Mama Lil's Kick-Butt Peppers. In Seattle, WA., go to Matt's in the Market in the Pike Place Market and get his Honkin Hot Grilled Ahi Tuna sandwich which is set off by Mama Lil's Hot Peppalilli. In Akron, Ohio, perhaps the best vegetarian sandwich going is the West Point Market Café's Californian – goat cheese, caramelized onions, portabello mushrooms, and grilled asparagus all brought together by the savory Mama Lil's Peppers.

Mama Lil's Peppers are found in the kitchens of many of the northwest's finest restaurants, such as Serafina, Earth & Ocean, Brad's Swingside, 1200 Bistro, Salumi, and Jazz Alley, where they're used them in an infinite variety of applications. They're on the sandwiches at Whole Foods Markets, DeLaurentis, Zeitgeist, La Panzanella, the Virginia Inn and Salumi. Mama Lil's Peppers and Salumi's fennel salami are featured together on an amazingly delicious pizza at Pagliacci's. Mama Lil's Peppers are the spicy and sweet pepper on Panera Bread's vegetarian cheese sandwich.

All the prep work is done. These colorful Hungarian peppers are already cut in 3/8 inch or 3/4 inch rings, and though they're often used to cook with, (esp. the oil) the pickled peppers are perhaps best served at room temperature, after the cooking's been done. The subtle flavor and gentle heat of the marinated Hungarian goathorn peppers are ideal for hors d'oeuvres and cheese plates, sandwiches, pastas, pizzas, omelettes etc. The pepper & garlic flavored oil is great for bread-dipping or as a spicy substitute for olive oil.

These are packed in 2 & 4 gallon buckets which need to be refrigerated for storage. We also, upon request, will pack the Peppers in Oil and sweet-heart Peppers in shelf stable quart jars, and the PeppaLilli in 1/2 gallon jars. All our pickling and packing happens each year between mid-August and mid-October, so please contact us before then if you'd like us to pack some for you.
